Who were some of the people who helped you create the song? A: This song was actually produced by Free Diesel but mix and mastered by engineer Dez. So in a sense they both had some sort've input. What's next for you? Any tours, or shows? A: I'm putting my own tour together within the next few months or so. I got a few shows scheduled right now through, one in Tampa, Norfolk, New York and Connecticut. I'm also getting ready to release two new singles before my mixtape "What You Playin 4" drops. When it comes to music, who are some of the mainstream artists that inspire you?? A: I get a lot of my inspiration from Jaheim, Drew Hill and Jesse Powell. I don't listen to much on the radio. Tidal Wave which was the first track that was released off of the “Forever” EP, was nominated for Favorite Song and Favorite Music Video at the 2016 MYX Music Awards,” explained Julie. When Julie makes music, she says her lyrics tend to revolve around her life experiences, love, pain and all the crazy emotions involved in relationships. When people listen to Julie’s music, she ultimately hopes they find it to be a breath of fresh air that inspires them. “I really want them to like what they hear. I do what I do for them because it defines my passion for music,” explained Julie. “I want them to be able to relate to the songs, or just have fun with them, no matter what they are going through.” In the next few years, Julie hopes to be an artist who continues to grow and evolves with the times. Spotlight on Arruba Danson

For his latest project, you won’t find Arruba Danson rapping about strip clubs, getting high or making money as most rappers tend to do. Nope, he doesn’t tend to follow those trending tropics like other hip hop artists. “I wanted to do something that was creative because I’m a creative person. I didn’t just want to do just random songs,” stated Arruba. According to the talented artist, he’s a really big fan of horror movies which is also reflected his latest music. “Some people might listen to this album, and think I worship the devil or something, but it’s not like that at all,” stated Arruba. “When you listen to the album, it’ll put you in a whole other world.” Influenced by Eminem’s early days, Arruba says the album tells a story of a troubled young man, Marcus, who is possessed by an evil entity. He eventually goes on a massacre and slowly becomes consumed by the demon within him after learning his girlfriend is cheating on him. “There’s a lot writing involved and a lot of skits which are really theatrical, too. I think it’s really different. This album is dark, so if you’re a fan of horror or suspenseful movies, you’ll appreciate this,” stated Arruba. According to Arruba he’s very pleased with the finished product, describing each track as a suspenseful chapter that’ll keep fans yearning for more. “Some songs on the album are really aggressive and long because the contain skits. My sound is definitely different. I don’t ever want to be put in a box,” stated Arruba.

He has received reviews from major artist including superstars like VA nativesatives Trey Songz, Chris Brown and many other industry figures.He is a songwriter artist and producer. His music is defined as real talk. It brings out street smarts politics and major swag. His influences would be music period.He is a fan of all different genres of music and artist. He suffered a near death accident in 2003 that led him to put more effort into his music and speak through his pain and struggle. He stands today as an premier artist in his area. He plans to give life to VA music and put southside Virginia on the map!
