[Mixtape] Bianca Bonnie (@BiancaIsKing) - The 9th Year

New York, New York (Friday August 19, 2016)-

Friday, August 19, 2016 Bianca Dupree reintroduces herself to the world as Bianca Bonnie.  The project which is symbolically titled The 9th Year represents her 9yr Journey from her 2007 debut to now.  Back with a new sound, new look and strong team headed by music veteran Yandy Smith, Bianca is set to heat up the summer with music that will finally show the world how talented she is and solidify her spot in the competitive world of Hip Hop.

Bianca Dupree aka Bianca Bonnie formerly Young B was only 15 years old when the Harlem born teen penned the hit single “Chicken Noodle Soup” with her friend DJ Webstar. The song became a popular dance and almost overnight the blossoming star was making appearances on prestigious television programs such as, the Oprah Winfrey Show, Regis & Kelly, Ellen Degeneres, 106 & Park and Sesame Street.

Bianca has built an impressive performance resume opening shows at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music hall, The Apollo Theatre, and the Philadelphia 76ers halftime show. She also won a Soul Train Award for “Best Dance Cut” back in 2007.  Since that time, Bianca has matured as a woman and evolved as an Artist. Experience with shady contracts, failed relationships, the loss of her number one supporter (her older brother) and all the negative chatter from those who said she wouldn’t do it again, has created an incredible entertainer with unmatched drive and amazing writing skills.

In 2015 Bianca was sought out by the producers of the hit reality franchise Love & Hip-Hop and asked to join the cast for season six of Love & Hip Hop New York. This was the big break Bianca had been waiting for. The premiere of season six reintroduced Bianca to the world and gave her a national stage for her long overdue comeback.

“I’ve been waiting to show fans who I really am and what a talented artist I am.
I’ve grown a lot and I want to show the world my growth and deliver an album full of hits they can dance to.” _ Bianca Bonnie

The album features production from Shy Boogs, Ray Lennon, Brian “People’s Garcia” and Ornell Bloomfield, with features from Jaquee and Rotimi of POWER fame.

[Video] Charles Jenkins - Winning

Chicago resident Charles Jenkins found international success with his music in 2012 when his debut single with Fellowship Chicago, “Awesome,” topped the Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart and didn't move for 22 weeks. Jenkins followed up his first #1 with in 2014 with “#WAR,” which also peaked at #1 on the Gospel Airplay chart, becoming the most played and most streamed gospel song of 2015 on Billboard’s end-of-the-year chart.

Just last month Charles continued his streak of superb, uplifting music by teaming up with Grammy Award winning producer Warren Campbell (Kanye West, R. Kelly, Snoop Dogg) for "Winning," which came accompanied with an affirmative lyric video. Bringing the #positiveair full circle, Charles Jenkins equips "Winning" with an official music video as he showcases his persistent drive to spread encouragement by sharing his faith in good-spirited, heartening music.

"Winning" is available on iTunes now and you can also pre-order Jenkin's forthcoming LP, Think About These Things, set to arrive September 2nd.

[Video] Jun Cai (@juncaimusic) - Bad

Jun Cai moved to the United States with his parents when he was just fourteen years old. Having been raised in a traditional Chinese family, where the eastern values of pursuing academic excellence superseded all other endeavors, Jun quickly realized that the western society he had been transplanted into was truly the land of opportunity. With his sights set on making his dreams come true, Cai self-funded and executively produced a 4 -track EP, No Accidents, which dropped in May. Revisiting the project, Jun releases a visual for "Bad" — an electronic-infused R&B ballad that finds him focused on a beautiful ballet dancer, seeming unable to control the lust he feels for her.

[Single] Lil Ace (@LilAce517) - Don’t Hate

Allysia Cook, known musically as Lil Ace, is an upcoming female rapper, singer and songwriter from Lansing, Michigan. Born on the Southside on June 25th, raised on the Northside of Lansing in a quiet suburb, Lil Ace attended Otto Middle School where her joy of writing poetry began. Lil Ace has said “Writing poetry gave me a trusted ear, always thinking…I never really said those words written aloud; I just wrote and turned the page, but always remembered the thoughts.” Striving for excellence, Lil Ace kept her nose in a book or dictionary every day. “If I didn’t know the meaning of a word, I looked it up.” Called a nerd by her big sister Lil Ace has said “I’ve always wanted to get good grades in school to make my parents proud of me, and my Father gave me money for A’s.” The love of Music came at a young age, really listening to lyrics and the meaning and passion behind words. “I loved words in songs that gave me goose bumps and made me want to hear it over and over again. In middle school, I sung everything. At the end of class during lunch time, me and a few fellow local artists ciphered in the foyer, Jodeci boots, Cross Colors, Malcolm X era…its funny how some things just don’t change.” Singing sweet hooks for friends over the years, Lil Ace finally decided to really move forward with her music in December 2015 after finding old pictures from friends with a note of the back. Most of them said, “To a cool girl I met, keep rapping and singing.”

Click [Here] To Stream/Download

Also through continuous encouragement from an old friend who thought Lil Ace had the voice, talent and sound that people would feel, Lil Ace was more determined than ever to pursue her career in music. While collaborating with another friend, Donovan Sims, they sat down and wrote the song “Don’t Hate”. Lil Ace came across a young and upcoming producer name Skelo who originally produced “Don’t Hate” in his basement studio. After great reviews, she reached out to Blake Wilson, and asked to perform in one of his shows. Her good friend Monique Aikens introduced her to Shaquille Brown who worked at Studio 707 in Lansing, MI. Shaquille gave “Don’t Hate” a professional sound and he produced Lil Aces’ other song “Laid Back”. Her 1st performance was at Mac’s Bar December 26th, 2015 in Lansing, MI. where she performed “Don’t Hate” and “Laid Back”. Soon to follow in February, 2016 Lil Ace was on the scene of Coast2Coast Live in ATL. Weeks after Lil Ace performed at Club Empire in Detroit, Michigan in front of a live crowd. Spotlight on MR. Craig (@MRCRAIGTA)

Washington, DC – A Queens, NY native, Mr. Craig began his career as a poet. His affinity for words and rhythm lends itself to his unique writing style – evocative, emotional, and powerful. Previously known as “Strict-ly Shadow,” Mr. Craig reinvented himself with a new moniker. The artist and his music are influenced by classical rap legends such as Tupac and Nas. “Their music has a poetic feel to it. Their lyrics had a lot of meaning,” says the performer of his musical heroes. Mr. Craig, too, is a man with a message, using his powerful words to relate to and connect with others.
Craig entered into a joint venture deal in 2016 with Image Sight and Sound, a multimedia production company, and has worked alongside company CEO Anthony “Mr. Tuck” Richards, who directed Craig’s music video. With Richards’ help, the artist has released his latest single, “One + One.” The song is a true story, an anthem of love and loss experienced by a once broken-hearted Mr. Craig. True to his poetry background, the song evokes feelings of hurt, but mostly hope. Says Craig of the song, “If you’re lucky enough to find someone you can connect with, that’s a really special thing.” Most recently, the artist released the song’s music video, which features actress Hada Vanessa, handpicked by Mr. Craig for her immense talent. “
Mr. Craig is a man of many talents that span far beyond songwriting and rap. Deeply rooted in the entertainment industry, he holds a degree in radio broadcasting, has worked in audio and video, voice-over, mastering, producing, A&R, and more. With his background in video, Craig was responsible for editing his own music video. He continues “behind-the-scenes” music work under the umbrella of Strict-ly Entertainment, a company of which he remains CEO.
With all of his experience and knowledge, the artist and creative entrepreneur is eager to pass on his knowledge to upcoming artists. His advice to others? “Learn the business,” insists Mr. Craig, “Music is not an easy industry, and a lot of young artists don’t understand the logistics – they just want to rap.”
Driven and immensely talented, Mr. Craig is an artist to watch. Stay tuned for his album, Evolutions, which is set to release Winter 2016, and his next single, “You Wouldn’t Understand.”

Spotlight on Alex Boye (@alexboyereal)

PARK CITY, UT – In a world that feels constantly at war, Alex Boye is trying to promote healing. His music – self-described as “Pop music with an African twist” – has been producing positive vibes for more than three decades. He’s had success as member of a 1990s boy band, as a gospel singer and, most recently, as a contestant on the NBC hit show America’s Got Talent. His music videos have garnered more than 260 million views on YouTube. But it’s his newest original single “We All Bleed the Same” that has him more excited than he’s ever previously been in his career.

“Everything right now is trying to divide us,” Boye said, referencing racial and violence issues in the U.S. and socio-economic and political clashes globally. “My new EP is trying to do the opposite. I’m trying to unify through the power of music. ‘We All Bleed the Same’ is a song that should give you an amazing feeling. When I sang it three weeks after the Orlando shooting, I felt healing just singing the song. Unfortunately in today’s day and age we give each other labels a lot, but those labels are dividing us. I wanted to do a song that talks about one label: the human race. This song and the EP is one big group hug – a sonic group hug.”

Boye has become known throughout the music industry and his fan base as an amazing cover artist. His unique style of pop with an African twist is something that he has given treatment to such popular songs as Disney’s “Let It Go” and “Under the Sea,” as well as more mainstream pop songs such as Adele’s “Hello” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” But this new EP, which goes by the same name as the single “We All Bleed the Same,” is his first original album since his time a decade ago as a Gospel artist. He said it was his mother – a native of Nigeria – who eventually convinced him that it was time to tackle such a project.

“I first started doing this Pop music with an African twist when I was contacted many years ago by a group called The Piano Guys,” Boye said. “They’re classically trained musicians who do pop songs with a classical twist. They asked me to sing Swahili on a cover of “Paradise” by Coldplay. In Swahili, the word for paradise is ‘Peponi.’ When we posted that song on YouTube, it had 4 million views within four hours. Now it has more than 51 million views. The funny thing is that for years my mom had been telling me that I should be giving my music an African twist. But African music is often lumped into the genre of ‘World Music,’ and that’s a small niche. When that video with The Piano Guys got so many views, though, I realized that this African influence came natural to me. When I showed it to my mom, she said, ‘I told you this would work.’ The moral of the story is that you should always listen to your mom. So after that I started wondering if I could make original stuff that has the same flavor. The result is this EP, which is a more marketable pop music with an African twist.”

The African flavor is present throughout the album. Boye sings in six different languages throughout, and introduces instrumental influences native to African countries. All of the songs continue the theme of unity – many of them sparked by one individual idea that he expands on through music. The single “Arms Around the World,” for instance, started with an exploration of the idea of inclusion. Once he found a melody and good beat, the lyrics for the song came naturally. In the end, it’s an album that he said is relevant for today – a socially conscious EP with music that people will want to get up and dance to.
