Gregory Keith Canady Jr. (born August 5, 1992), known professionally as G.Canady, is an American rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur. Born in Fayetteville, NC. G. Canady gained his recognition from his hometown while being a part of the rap group, Bang Out Squad (B.O. $). In 2010 he took his talents to Texas, where he released his first series of Beast Mode mixtapes as a solo artist. Now residing in Atlanta, GA, G.Canady released his mixtape Urban Greatness in 2016. Less than a year later in 2017, he released his highly anticipated F.E.A.R (Face Everything And Recover) project. The F.E.A.R project created a lot of traction down the East and West coasts with his hit singles Hustling Women and Letter to God. Returning back home he founded a group called The New Occupants that delved into a new music genre – EDM. This talented group produced a number of electronic dance tunes that quickly earned significant international acclaim. Despite this success the man was unable to completely sate his musical muse because he was finding his primary love, musical composition could not be limited to just one genre. More and more he was drawn into studio production work so that his wide ranging muse could be released to develop music in a variety of formats, and for a wide variety of purposes. As an award winning musical artist and performer, he has enjoyed the accolades of success, including a Cleo in the advertising industry and developing music for numerous industries and commercial productions. He became sought out for his production talents, but still stove for perfecting his personal genre and style. A few years back the man awoke from a dream to recognize the missing component was his initial foundation of developing and playing full songs as he did in his youth. He drew upon those long-ago memories to introduce an imaginary childhood friend by the name of Mr. MooQ who would serve to provide voice to his desire to once again return to some of the roots of his musical motivations. He became this persona, and now Mr. MooQ is no longer imaginary, but very, very real. William Rideau has always enjoyed having music be a strong and enduring influence in life. Born & raised in the small town of Chalmette, Louisiana, he has been performing since a very young age.
William has fond memories of visiting his great-grandmother‘s nursing home & performing for her behind her room dividing curtain, & performing shows in his dad’s band practice space, to singing in choir & playing clarinet in middle school band, which fostered passion for musicianship continued to deepen.
At 14, William attended his 1st concert. It solidified a desire to become a professional singer & performer. After high school, he went to college in New Orleans & studied music business. During that time, he started doing more things to try to get in the entertainment industry, extra work in films to modeling jobs – anything he could do to get exposure & make connections.
After college William continued developing himself as an artist & attending concerts to study some of his favorite artists. Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Prince, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Jay Z, & Kanye West have all been major influences on him musically.

Veteran singer Jon B. has been a bit quiet on the new music front since releasing his standout single “Understand” with Donell Jones earlier this year. The song was an extremely successful return single and really maxed out the anticipation for a long awaited new album.

The singer has now returned with another new single called “Priceless”. He shared a preview of the song and video on his official Instagram account which you can watch below. The song and video was released in full on his birthday today, November 11th.

Although we can only hear a small portion of the song, it certainly has that Jon B. trademark swagg on it we’ve become accustomed to over the years. Now, the wait is really on not only for the new single, but for the new album.

In case you missed it, in a recent interview with youknowitgotsoul.com’s website, he discussed his single with Donell Jones, when to expect a new album, and much more.

From the video, we can see that our boy is on point, with hooks that thrill, this track, like so many of his past, will make the floors move in many a dance clubs. Jon B’s Priceless is just that.

Bronx native,  Nine exploded onto the scene in 1994 with the underground smash “Six Million Ways to Die” feature on Funkmaster Flex’s & the Ghetto Celebs. A repeat hitter on the Billboard Charts Nine’s “Whutcha Want” single from debut album NINE Livez charted at #3 and stayed there for 17 weeks. Followed by the Cloud Nine album which is regarded as a hip hop classic.  Nine’s vocals have appeared on the Beastie Boys, Madonna and Portishead and paved the way for the maelstrom of rugged MC’s that followed.  Nine released a handful of underground singles, charting  overseas and appeared in a few acting gigs on stage and the TV series New York Undercover: Kill the Noise then downshifted from the spotlight only making rare appearances and performing behind the scenes production.

In 2016  Nine returns to the game with his new EP The Difference and the mixtape No Country for Old Men (NCFOM) released on BDMG Digital. V.A.I.N.(Verbal Assault Is Nasty ) is a rap recording artist who was born and raised in Queens, NYC. Vain grew up under the musical influences of his parents, who were lifelong musicians, and the rich hip hop environment of NYC In an effort to expand his fan base and overall exposure he has recently begun touring the south, ensuring that his presence is known.



VAIN has a catalog of over 500 Hip hop songs, and numerous mixtapes. He's had the privilege of collaborating with many other talented artists in the industry on songs/videos including: Lil Mo (Break Up 2 Make Up), Slim from 112 (All the Good Girls), Fabolous & Ryan Leslie (Good Lovin') Jim Jones (Show Off), Red Cafe (All Ghetto video NSFW) & DJ Jazzy Joyce (I Love It - which reached #87 on Urban Mediabase Top 100).

Legends such as The Nappy Roots, Lil’ Flip, Yo Gotti, Lil’ Jon & the East Side Boyz, 112, Twista, movie maven Lisa Raye, George Clinton, Trick Daddy, Juvenile, Field Mob, Rick Ross, the OG Bigga Rankin, So So Def, the FUBU owners have all come to T-town over the years to enjoy and participate in various events. This year V.A.I.N was able to make his mark and add his name to the list of legends.

This years festivities included a special advance screening of Ice Cube & Kevin Hart's new movie 'Ride Along 2' , Elora Mason brought her fabulous FESummit showcase back to Tallahassee, only this year as a part of Demp Week.

Friday the weekend officially kicked off with DJ Demp hosting a Meet & Greet for legendary DJ Scream and later in the afternoon a celebrity basketball game for charity, that V.A.I.N. himself participated in. Check out the footage below.

Saturday was no different, V.A.I.N started the day off with DJ Demp's Anti-Bully Rally at the Jack McLean Community Center, another successful charity event for DJ Demp and #DempWeekXIX

Some of the other notable events and activities for V.A.I.N included hitting the stage at one of Tallahassee's infamous venues, The Moon. Where he had the privilege to open for Yo Gotti performing his new hit single "Hello", at DJ Demp's official birthday celebration.

He also had the privilege of being interviewed at FAMU'S own 90.5FM 'The Flava'.
