Spotlight on The FaNaTiX (Producers)

THE FANATIX LOOK SET TO START 2017 WITH A BANG…
London based music producers, The FaNaTiX, look set to build on last year’s achievements, with 2017 looking like being their busiest yet.
The music producers and remixers, who specialize in RnB, Hip Hop and Bashment/Dancehall, have a wealth of experience in the UK and globally, also producing songs for television, radio and films. The collective has previously been involved with projects with the BBC, Sky Sports and Channel 4.
Among a glittering show reel, Popcaan is one of the most exciting new acts on the books of The FaNaTiX, working to build on the success of ‘Rup Rup’, Jamaica’s hottest track in 2015 with 8 million views on YouTube.
Popcaan’s latest release, Nah Idle, looks set to continue in the same vain, achieving almost half a million views on YouTube within days of its December 27th, release. Listen to Nah Idle here:

“We are really looking forward to 2017” said [Dro of The Fanatix]. 2016 was a great year full of progression, we have been involved in a number of high profile projects scheduled for release in 2017 which we are extremely excited about, along with a new release at the end of 2016 with E5Records, we would encourage everyone to check out Popcaan's latest single, Nah Idle” he added.

Riding something of a wave, Popcaan is now also linked with Drake’s OvO, recently appearing in an advert for the clothing brand meets Jordan, featuring production by The FaNaTiX.

The FaNaTiX have received widespread industry praise for their dynamic approach to each artist, capturing the individuality and creativity of whoever they work with. With an intricate understanding of the music industry, both in the UK and internationally, The FaNaTiX have a key knowledge of what it takes to not only succeed but also stand out, and have so far applied this successfully.

The FaNaTiX have worked with a host of musical icons such as Beenie Man, and have also produced for Stylo G, Geko, Sneakbo, Chipmunk and Paigey Cakey.

[Single] Sir - She Got It

Sir William Christopher Alexander, who records under the name “Sir”, is an American rapper and Songwriter. He was born in Jacksonville, FL. His first induction into music came long before he ever picked up a pen to write his first Song. At the age of 12 Sir wrote his first poem “Love Letter” which would soon propel his ability to bend, rhyme, and exaggerate words. He began sitting with his brother Terry Thompson Jr, The oldest of three brothers, experimenting with instrumentals, freestyle rapping, testing the rap waters. It wasn’t until Sir started working with the rap group Young Society when he realized that he had a hidden love for making music. Sir’s lyrical inspiration came from Nas, Jay – Z, Kanye West, Drake, Notorious B.I.G, and his Favorite rapper of all time Eminem. Having studied each of these amazing talents, he took his poetic style and mentality to deliver his version of Hip Hop. The rapper, songwriter and producer of hip hop known only as Sir has released his latest single track, “She Got It.” The track has been proudly released under the independent Royalty Music Group. Indomitable, melodic, with a powerful back beat and moments of great intensity, “She Got It” is easily one of the best pop tracks to come from an independent rapper in quite some time. Sir cites as main artistic influences a broad array of pop and hip-hop stars including Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, the Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Nas, Canibus, Clip Heatwood, Slick Rick, and Michael Jackson. A particularly eloquent master of the mic, Sir’s lyrics are deliberate and concise, chosen for sound, rhythm and meaning in equal measures. “I started off managing a rap group by the name of Young Society,” writes Sir of his start in hip hop. “After realizing that my true gift was being behind the mic and impacting people from the stage, I decided to turn to the life of recording and performing.” A man of great drive and personal direction, Sir’s music has always been about improving the world around him. Though the power and groove of “She Got It” stand out as clear priorities for the artist, it is the reason underpinning the track with which Sir is chiefly interested. Speaking of these themes, Sir comments, “My music gives people looking for a way to express how they feel about today’s society (music, media, etc.) a voice to be heard, received by the masses. ‘She Got It’ speaks for those women who have what it takes to command attention without saying a word. They are independent and in demand. ‘She Got It’ also speaks about acknowledging the beauty in every woman as well as admiring their confidence. Sir was born Sir William Christopher Alexander in Jacksonville, FL. He has been honing his craft since the age of 13. “She Got It” by Sir is available online worldwide.

[Single] Macdon the Fifth - Entrepreneurs "Global Concourse Vol.1 album"

Macdon the Fifth is an American rapper from Hollis Queens New York. Macdon became familiar with his talent in the basement of a friend who had DJ equipment named Dollar Bill. He began playing around with the mic and some beats and penned a few rhymes. It turned out so well that he began to see a future in music. Another song eventually caught the ear of Jam Master Jay (R.I.P.) but the timing wasn't right and the song was passed on. Around this time he connected with Zodiac Fishgrease who was an apprentice on Video Music Box with Ralph Mcdaniels. This is when he began to catch on and got his first taste of fame. This continued attention and his musical versatility eventually landed Macdon a deal with Warner Bros. Records. Unfortunately the deal went south. Macdon then took a break from music to start a family but he couldn't stay away from the industry for long and soon found himself in the studio with his producer friend Beyond. He made connections with 50 Cent and Uncle Murda and landed himself a second deal with Fubu Records. Fubu was a hot urban clothing brand making a move into the music industry with a compilation album featuring major and up and coming artists. Macdon was rewarded with a 150k signing bonus from the label. In spite of this he didn't receive the "push" that many thought he would have. Undeterred with another opportunity placed before him, Macdon has a single entitled "Entrepreneurs" that was chosen for placement on Global Concourse Vol. 1 presented by Global Sounds Records and distributed by eOne. This album is slated for release on January 20.2017.
